Our locally sourced cherry, like most fruit woods is a dense and strong material, ideal for carving and pieces such as chairs that get a lot of weight and use regularly. The color is always on the warm, rich side and the grain is fine in texture, but often curly. Cherry deepens and darkens in color over time.
